Month 17: Decade Journey
Month 17, June 2025.
$1 million USD in 5 years, 60 months, but will keep going until 120 months.
Where I am
Here is June's financial overview, just crossed the $2k mark (almost $3k). Good money, but as I said last month, I should be making $16k per month to hit the goal, so I definitely need to scale that up. But again, this is cash flow and cash flow is good.
This month has been insanely difficult juggling the hourly clients while trying to build a scalable company. The biggest takeaway this month is that there are only so many hours in a day.
I can’t overestimate what I can do. Mon-Fri I am working close to 10~11 hours a day, weekends is probably another 6-8 hours, that is mostly focused on client work, which leaves little to no time for my own company growth.
While working for those clients, if I don’t have a good process for fulfillment I certainly will face the issue of being “stuck” in work. So, one of the things that I started doing earlier on in the month is literally mapping out EVERY step of onboarding a customer, an SOP that can be replicated for every other customer that I onboard:

It is a disorganized mess right now, but will be properly organized (with some help from Gemini) for the next client onboarding.
Most of the successful companies, founders, businesses, they all have done 1 scalable thing consistently. I cannot drop that ball, even if that means having less time allocated for clients.
I have also started focusing on more revenue channels such as affiliates. Since I am the one recommending tools and platforms for my clients, it only makes sense to get some revenue from that as well. This also means that I got accepted into Clay Creator Program
Some of these platforms are very generous about these affiliate revenue. Check HeyReach for example.
That is 30% recurring revenue, forever.
Affiliate programs I have associated with so far:
Clay, Apify, HeyReach, Make, Instantly.
Most of my customers have at least 3 of these platforms: Instantly, Clay and Apify, so imagine how much money I would be leaving on the table by not participating in the affiliate program.
Also, these affiliates can scale tremendously with content. For my next course about Clay (which is still in progress due to lack of time) I will be 100% adding affiliate links to it.
On another note, I feel like I am getting better and better at managing clients' expectations, still a lot to improve on but much better than last month (my stupid-mistakes channel has been pretty silent lol).
That also means that I can probably go back to doing things that scale my revenue and my business, that is my #1 goal for next month.
Where I am going
My goal for the month of July is simply two things:
Finish up the SOP and have an established process for the entire customer journey
Get back to doing scalable things: content. Maybe have an SOP for that as well?
As I said in the previous update, I have to continue sharing my journey online, that is what is going to move the needle. This month has been lackluster in terms of progress for my business, because even though revenue is up, this small increase won’t allow me to reach my goal.
Sharing my journey online probably means sharing this monthly update somewhere else too.
June plan and how it went:
Fully built SOP for all my Upwork clients (Lead Generation and List Building). ✔️ Half way there.
Agentic organization: fully built AI agents that will work on each part of my SOP. At least 4. ❌ only made 1 that helped me with SPINTAX
AI Agents to help with the creative part and the Compounding part of my business (audience building). ❌
Have 1 more video published on Youtube. ❌
Get 1 testimonial video from a customer. ❌ (This is SO close to being done though)
Rethink Newsletter (or automate it). ✅ I am scraping the newsletter part of the business.
July plan:
Prepare for the 1st full quarter for DJ. Make a simple OKR and QBR process.
Finish SOP for the entire customer journey.
Agentic organization: 1 AI agent (or Gemini Gem) to help with List Building.
Agentic organization: 1 AI agent (or Gemini Gem) to help with creating content
Start a cold campaign for DJ.
Have 1 more video published on Youtube
Get 1 testimonial video from a customer.
Ongoing / Long term projects.
Set up initial lead generation for DJ (this is coming this next month)
Improve landing page for DJ (I have had lots of good ideas here, stay tunned)
Get into Clay creator program ✅(Done)

Slow month in terms of progress for DJ, but lots of learning. Still pumped, let 's fucking go.
